Maja Bohemien is a tattooer from Milan, Italy, she started her career at early age, doing her apprenticeship in a tattoo studio in Milan while studying as graphic designer,

After a brief work experience in the graphic industry, she decided to be dedicated only in tattooing and in 2000 she opened her first tattoo studio, called Skin & Soul in Milan, near Porta Romana, at age 22.

She also worked sporadically in different cities across Italy & Europe as a guest artist or participating in different international Tattoo Conventions and she moved to Ireland in Dublin at the end of 2014, to focus on her own style and to gain international clients.

In 2020 started to work privately along with her partner Gary (@pokytats) and after two years they founded The Gallery Tattoo Collective, a private tattoo studio that focus on delivering high quality tattoos from different residents & guest artists, in a beautiful and very welcoming private space in the heart of Dublin City centre.

Specialising in Neotraditional tattoos, Maja loves to work especially on floral/animal pieces, her work is often custom made, tailored for each client’s body & bringing their ideas to life, for those who don’t know what to get, there is always a big selection of available designs, ( you can find them on her Instagram in the highlights or you can enquire about it via email).

Her signature style is characterised by harmonious and detailed designs with muted tones and very soft blends of colours and saturation.

She occasionally worked in New York and Los Angeles as well.

Today her work is recognised internationally, many international clients visit her studio from different countries to get tattooed by her.
